Art

This week, we don’t have another finished heroine. Nonetheless, our artist got pretty far with Maren’s design.

While Maren was the first heroine he ever drew, he was never satisfied with what he produced. Two early sketches were followed by another sprite which he soon discarded due to an issue with its perspective. This new one, however, may just be it.

Editing

I’ve been busy editing our first route this week. With the third route in the final stretch, it’s time to get a headstart on the cleanup so we can get first versions out to beta readers in preparation for our demo’s release this summer.

Music

Our composer finished the first draft of another song. While he’s not quite happy with the drums yet, we threw together a quick teaser for our Twitter!

Scripting

I added in the basic framework for our mana usage system. It doesn’t track the main character’s mana most of the time, but it’s set up so I can easily insert spell costs and regeneration as I edit.

Writing

At over 12.000 words, I’m happy with what I achieved this week.

Our main character recently had to travel to Borneo on a mission. What are warlocks doing in Borneo? Well… I’m sure they aren’t picking fights with the locals.
